How i spend my money!

When i used to live with my mom i used to get $10 a week, then rising to $20 a week. I usually would waste that money on icecream everyday afterschool and hot cheetos, i then learned that i wanted a variety of clothes so i started to save. So now that i live with my grandma i have carried some of those lesson i've accoplished at my mom house over to my grandmas house. At my grandmas every month i get $253 but i have to help her out so i give $60 a month, my grandma knows how to spend and save money so she has also retaught me the meanings of having money saved for something i want or may need. When it comes to budgeting money i really don't understand how you do it.... maybe i have did it but lol i would have not known!! I am really happy at my big increase of money that i recieve every month but i still find my self saying,"Where did my money go!!"

I used to like when my mom surprised me with $10 here and maybe $40 there, but what i did'nt like is when she lied to me about the money. Me and my sister get child support from our astranged father every month but i did'nt know that until i started to complain to my grandma, that there is no food in the house and momma is gone with one of her mail friends and i'm stuck in the house watching my siblings. Now my mom is not and evil woman but to me she is in denial with herself because she believes her own lies, when it comes to our child support checks the first thing she says is how he beat on her. This is very sad and bad to hear but at the same time it does'nt help that you spent all of our money on your dates and on our step father videos games. This was one of my conflicts with my momma and i had to leave because at that house i had no good examples of how you should spend or save money, the only thing i saw was people wasting money. My little brother needs help i don't really know if he has autism or what but its been a year, and the two people that claim their grown. Is still on their butts in a dirty house neglecting their son with a problem and eight year old daughter that needs love!!

So now that you know how my life is with money now you should know why i wasting my money, instead of saving and investing my money in things i need.

The only thing in life is death and taxes?

I beilieve that in life you have choices and how you choose is up to you, bills does not have to be a majof priority if you spend your money right. if you make those "bills" as people say into a fun hobby you do to keep the things you love. Everyone loves to have a house and a car that they can depend on and keeps you out of the weather, but if you want to keep those valuables then yea taxes is gonna come up. So my advice for people is to spend your money right and watch what you buy, because if you don't then thats when you are gonna have bills that everyone hates.Now my opinion on death is you can basically prevent it if you are careful in choosing what you eat, now car accidents etc. is not in your hands. Food is and when you eat like a pig then guess whats gonna happen to you...you're gonna die like a bg fat pig!! So in reality i guess one can say that is true for some but not all that the only thing in life is death and taxes!!

My opinion on peoples choices!!

First of all i think that yes what you do outside of work will make or break you, if you have a job that involves the public you need to watch your actions. People who work for big companies and are president of that company, will have to make a good example for their fellow workers. Keeping your name in constant violent issues will put you in a major ditch, just say for ex. a teacher kills one of her students and their parents for some crazy reason. This issue will be brought to the public and there will be some transfers to other school by parents because they would'nt want this to happen to them or their child. My opinion on workers would be to watch your actions if you would'nt do it in your normal life, then don't do it and get caught and then it will become a everyday tabloid that you will have to live by. Some may want to have mercy on their favorite celebs but why in my opinion unless you're natasha kai, but anyway celebs are just regular people to me but with way more money and they are well known! In the sport world we are seeing atlethes become victoms of some americans, that do these activities on their daily basis. When Michael Vicks was sentenced to jail he knew that he was wrong i believe he had it coming to him, because why would you put our precious animals in fights. However some people will never learn until they lose their jobs!!

An urban legend is a story that is told forms a person who says they know of someone who, actually went through this tale.


Leprechauns: This urban legend is about a very short leprechaun who kills for gold, the gold doesn’t even have to be the leprechauns gold. Another fact is that people say that if you go to the end of the rainbow, you get or could find some gold. Lastly they all have and wear green, and they originate form Scotland he’s Irish.

Clowns: This urban legend is about clowns that suppose to be good and making people laugh. To clowns that kill people just for no reason. 3 Facts about clowns would have to be, they all have a wear red wigs, their teeth are bloody and sharp, and they kill any and everyone. The clowns in the movies are always targeting little kids; they eat them through water drains and in showers. Lastly the clowns of today make clowns look bad because they just kill and excitement of any little kid wanting to have a clown at there parties.


Peanut Butter: Peanut Butter is a very common urban legend on the Maury Povich show, on this show they showed some urban legends I didn’t even know about. Peanut Butter however caught my eye as a very hard legend to believe, some facts about this legend is that people can’t stand when the peanut butter is stuck up at the top of their mouth. Secondly is they are scared of the smell of the peanut butter, they actually said that the peanut butter smelled pretty scary? Lastly they are scared of the actual form of the peanut butter one woman said when she heard…? Her sons take it out of the jar she felt like she had a heart attack.

Life lessons

Hi my name is Mercedesz and i'm enrolled in a Media Analysis class, this class has taught me alot and i really enjoy it. In this class we cover various topics that will teach us individualy in life and lesson for the class. Some topics that we discuss are very shocking to me just to think that a girl or boy can die from using myspace, to me that site should be for friends or members of family trying to find each other.Secondly i've learned how the media protrays woman especially woman with curves. To me this is a problem that i belive should change which may be hard, considering the media has these images installed in everyone. For ex. video games are not equal because it seems to me that video games only include african american woman, in the ghetto roles which to me are pathetic! However i can say i am a good example of media persuasion to a limt, i have to admit i love playing grand theft auto. For some reason that game is my favorite along with other video games that people may say are VIOLENT!! Everyone in life knows that we all are different and have different beliefs, but one thing i can say i have learned from media analysis is that the media can advertise but we still have an option to buy or not to buy!!
